and hosting the tomb of a Moroccan scholar, Abu El Abbas El Mursi who came and lived in Alexandria.

Abu El Abbas was born in Andalusia region of Spain in 1219. When his family had to leave spain due to moslem prosecution, his family moved to Tunisia then later he went to Alexandria, which was a opular destination for scholar then.
Abu El Abbas was a theological scholar and teacher in the Islam, who had alot of followers and students. Later his tomb became a place pilgrimage for many Moslems who passed through Alexandria on their way to / from Mecca.
