Optional: Prepare to enjoy one of the best activities to do in Luxor, take a balloon ride of almost 30 to 45 minutes to take a tour of the air over the west bank of Luxor. At the end of this wonderful adventure you will return to the cruise.

After breakfast, our guide will escort you to the Valley of the Kings which is home to more than 60 rock-cut tombs for the pharaohs and nobles of the New Kingdom. where you can enter 3 fabulous tombs decorated with scenes from mythologies. Next visit the temple of Hatshepsut the powerful woman who ruled Egypt during the New Kingdom, the temple was dedicated to the worship of the Sun God. The magnificent 3-tiered rock-cut temple with its connecting ramps was a turning point in ancient Egyptian architecture. The last stop will be at the Colossi of Memnon, 2 giant statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III in a seated position. They were built to protect the entrance to the Amenhotep memorial temple. You will have free time to take unforgettable photos with the colossi. Lunch on cruise, depart Luxor and sail to Edfu. Night on board.

The first stop of the day will be at the high dam which was inaugurated in 1970. and then you will head to the Philae Temple, which was rebuilt on Aggilica island after the construction of the high dam. The temple was dedicated to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor. The last stop will be with the visit of the Unfinished Obelisk, which shows how the pharaohs built the magnificent obelisks.
