Hurghada sightseeing tours , excursions in Hurghada
Hurghada is considered the largest city in the Red Sea Governorate, but surprisingly it has a short history. Until the end of the twenties, Arab sailors from the Arabian Peninsula used to come to the city and fish near the Egyptian shores. The meeting point of the sailors after completing the fishing was at a tree of great height, from which Hurghada acquired its name, which is the Hurghada tree.
The first recreational place in Hurghada was a holiday destination for the last king of Egypt, King Farouk, who ruled the country until 1952. After nationalization, this building became the Armed Forces Club for Water Sports, and is now located in front of the city's tourist information center.
Hurghada is one of the most important Egyptian coastal cities, and it is the administrative capital of the Red Sea Governorate, which comes on the western shore of the Red Sea, where it occupies about 40 kilometers from the sea coast strip. It is a first-class tourist city, which makes it crowded with tourists almost all seasons of the year. Hurghada consists of 3 main neighborhoods, which are as follows:
- Al-Dahar district.
- Al-Saqala district.
- Al-Ahya neighborhood.
