Start your Alexandria Day Excursion with a visit to the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa. It is a very large Roman cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock. Where you will see elements of Egyptian, Greek and Roman Culture. You will also drive by Pompay’s Pillar and stop for a photo stop, (it was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century) .
Then you will visit the Roman Amphitheater of Alexandria with the attached display sunken monuments of Alexandria.

Afterwards, visit the library of Alexandria from Alexandria, which is considered one of the ancient libraries in the whole world. You will visit the library famous Manuscripts Museum, president Saddat Museum and impressions of Alexandria Museum.

P.S: Alexandria Library is closed on every public holiday and every friday . To enter the reading area you will need to purchase a ticket.

Drive to Montaza Royal Palace in Montaza Garden you will visit the royal gardens of King Farouk (the last king in the history of Egypt) and see the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek as well as walk along the famous Montaza bridge and reach the Tea Palace island and see the royal beaches of the queens.

Later you will visit the ancient church of st. Mark, Abu Elabbass famous mosque of Alexandria as well as the old downtown and the local historical architecture which has baroque style designs and Italian and French style properties.

Before heading back to port, you will have a chance to see the old harbour and the old fishing boats, men fishing and traditional fishermen making nets. The photos taken here are amazing.
